Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy joined HealthSouth in 2017 as the chief executive officer, bringing more than a decade of executive leadership in the skilled nursing and retirement community arena. He began his career in the admissions and marketing field, and quickly progressed to executive leadership. He has proven strengths in strategic planning, hospitality, customer relations and quality assurance. Jeremy earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Purdue University and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Ohio and Kentucky.
Neal Moser, M.D.
Dr. Moser has been the medical director at HealthSouth since 2000. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Moser served his residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati and his fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the University of Kentucky.
Neal Moser, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Business Development Director
Missy has more than 20 plus years of healthcare experience in Northern Kentucky. She received her MBA from Thomas More College and holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Missy has a bachelor's degree in social work from Western Kentucky University and a Kentucky license in social work. She leads the marketing and admissions team.
Human Resources Director
Joining the HealthSouth team in June of 2012, Bridgette brings 13 years of experience in a variety of human resource functions. She obtained a bachelor's degree from Northern Kentucky University in speech communication and a master's degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University.
Lisa has more than 12 years of healthcare finance experience. She began her healthcare career in 1995 as a staff accountant, advancing to business office manager, followed by controller. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Kentucky University.
Mary Pfeffer, OTR/L
Director of Therapy Operations
Mary has practiced as an occupational therapist for more than 20 years. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. Her clinical interests and experience include acute rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, ergonomics and management. At present, she leads the inpatient/outpatient therapy teams, OP case management, day program and transportation at HealthSouth Northern Kentucky.
Director of Pharmacy
Kara joined HealthSouth Northern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in 2007 as an as-needed pharmacist while serving as a pharmacist in a large acute care hospital for 12 years. In total, she brings more than 20 years' experience in an acute care setting. In August 2017, she made the transition into the role of director of pharmacy at HealthSouth Northern Kentucky. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Cincinnati in 2003.
Stephanie Ryan, CRRN
Chief Nursing Officer
Stephanie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Beckfield College of Nursing. She joined the HealthSouth team in 2011 and was promoted to the chief nursing officer position in 2017. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, wound care certified and is an active member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. At HealthSouth, she serves as a member on the stroke and traumatic brain Injury rehabilitation teams.
Erin Thom, MSW, LSW
Director of Case Management
Erin has more than 10 years of experience as a licensed social worker and holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Northern Kentucky University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. She has worked for HealthSouth Northern Kentucky for five years and currently manages the case management/discharge planning staff.
Director of Quality & Risk
Julie started her career at HealthSouth Northern Kentucky as the senior speech-language pathologist in 2005. During her time in the therapy department, she led the stroke and brain injury programs for The Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certification. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in speech sciences from Indiana University.
